What is HRScore?
HRScore is the model’s daily rating for a hitter’s home run profile in that specific game environment. It is designed to help you quickly identify which bats stand out once power indicators, matchup context, and external conditions are evaluated together.
Does a high HRScore guarantee a home run?
No. Baseball is volatile, and no single hitter is ever guaranteed to leave the yard. A higher HRScore simply means the hitter’s overall profile looks stronger that day relative to the slate.
What goes into the model?
The model is built around advanced baseball data, matchup-specific context, and game environment factors that can influence home run potential. That includes power-related indicators, contact quality, opposing pitcher context, wind, weather, and park environment.
Do you reveal the full formula?
No. Swing Kings Lab explains the inputs at a high level, but the exact model structure, weighting, and internal process remain proprietary.
Why are only certain hitters shown on Today’s Card?
The model reviews more hitters than what appears on the final card. The published card is filtered to keep the daily read tighter and more useful, focusing on stronger home run profiles instead of overwhelming you with every possible long shot.
